208 venues are showing the work of nearly 300 artists the length and breadth of Somerset.
Bruton is playing a big part, with new and exciting work from pupils at King’s School and Bruton School for Girls. The official Open Studios Festival Club will be at the Bruton Art Factory in the Old Mill Business Centre, with work by Marey MeMe, Mirabel Williams, Sabrina Rowan Hamilton and Benjamin Lowsley-Williams.
Among those in Bruton taking part this year are two painters from Bruton Art Society, Thea Dupays and Patience Thom. Others are Jules Horn, Richard Pomeroy, Jackie Brooks, Jo Jo Neon, and the Shave Farm group: Rowena Pearce, Annie Fry, Lin Hawkins, Terri Hogan, Kay Lewis Bell, Tim Millar and John Buckler.
Full details of venues and opening times are in the Open Studios booklet, available from the usual outlets (Church Bridge Stores, the Community Office, Spar etc.) in Bruton.
