Eduardo Chillida is widely celebrated for his monumental public sculptures and enduring fascination with interconnected shape, space and organic form. This exhibition and wider event programme will act as a cultural exchange between Hauser & Wirth Somerset and Chillida Leku, a public museum and sculpture park created during Chillida’s lifetime that expanded the relationship between art and nature.

Gustav Metzger radically challenged our understanding of art, its relation to reality and our existence within society. Organised in partnership with the Gustav Metzger Foundation, Hauser & Wirth’s inaugural exhibition of Metzger’s work will explore the intersection between human intervention, nature and man-made environments, ideas the artist continued to interrogate over a six-decade career.

Both exhibitions will be the first of the gallery’s global projects to implement a new carbon budget.
