Deskbound police officer Asger Holm responds to an emergency call from a kidnapped woman but the call is abruptly disconnected and so begins the search. Confined to the station, Holm (played superbly by Jakob Cedergren) has to use his skill and intuition in the race against time to try to locate the woman and her assailant but we also slowly learn about the incident that left him being restricted to desk duties . . .
