Bruton Walkers Walk Again!

We are going to try our first group walk next weekend on Sunday 6th September. We’ll meet in Bruton, in the Car park in front of the Godminster Cheese shop at 9.30 and this will be a short walk of about 3 miles.

We do need to do some things differently though. If you want to walk with us then we need your name and phone number before you come. Please message me through Facebook or call 07873447603 before 9pm on Saturday. This is for track and trace, I’ll keep your details safe for two weeks then destroy them.

As we walk we need to be conscious of social distancing, keeping 2m apart where possible and no less than 1 where it isn’t. You may want to bring hand sanitisers to use after handling gates etc. Face coverings are not legally required out of doors, but if you want to wear one, feel free.

As adults we need to agree to keep ourselves and each other safe and to respect individual feelings on what is safe.

I’m sure we can make this work and create a secure environment for each of us to enjoy the countryside.
