Bruton Horticultural Visit to Hazelbury Manor

Bruton Horticultural Society have arranged a visit to:
8 acres of Grade II landscaped organic gardens around a 15th Century fortified manor (not open). Edwardian garden of yew hedges, topiary, beech stilt hedges, laburnum tunnel and pleached lime avenue. Productive vegetable gardens, orchards and a circle of megaliths. Wildflower drive from butterfly rich common. The Head Gardener, Philip Statner, will be with us for the afternoon guiding us round the garden. Bring a picnic or visit the nearby Forage Cafe at the Wadswick Store for a pre-visit lunch.
Cost: £8 members, £10 non-members
Directions: Follow B3109 north from Bradford-on-Avon, 1st left after Fiveways Junction and gateway immediately on right.
