I say old chap, what’s all this about then?
The Tweed Ride brings the 1920’s/30’s to life. Dress in your best vintage style outfit, dust off your tweeds and polish up your bicycles (doesn’t have to be vintage, but are encouraged and prizes are up for grabs!) to join us at the Castle Cary Market House for a spiffing good day.
We’ll ride out on a 10 mile circuit through the picturesque Somerset countryside – not forgetting to ring our bike bells along the way – but fear not old fellows, we will be stopping at a few delightful destinations for a refreshment or two. on the way. Then sufficiently refueled it’s time to ride back to the Market House to celebrate with live music by the popular Bath jazz band ‘The 4-nicators’, fizz, cocktails and food. But before the celebrations begin we’ll announce the winner of the best dressed male and female cyclists, best gentleman’s beard, best ladies hat and best dressed bike, so add lots of interesting things to your bicycles and look dapper guys and gals.
