  • Advanced Charcuterie Workshop

    This workshop will be taking a more advanced look at charcuterie to explore cultures and fermentation. There will be discussion at length on the process of salting and fermentation of salami as well an exploration of various methods of home drying. After lunch you will create various flavours of salami using locally foraged ingredients.

  • Immune Health Workshop

    This workshop will teach you what foods (and habits) the immune system needs to keep you in robust health and how to look after yourself when you are ill, to enable a speedy recovery. You will leave with top tips and a selection of recipes (including a magic hot toddy recipe) so you can get started straight away. It's just what you need to keep you fit and well all winter.

  • Opening reception: Re.Use, Re.Think, Re.Imagine

    Join Hauser & Wirth Somerset to celebrate the opening of ‘Re.Use, Re.Think, Re.Imagine’ an exhibition that presents the work of seven UK based experimental makers whose work explores new responses to materials and process, producing unique and inventive objects, textiles and furniture. Whether re-purposing, recycling or innovating, all are considering the resources around us to challenge conceptions of making.

    Makers featured in the exhibition are: Juli Bolaños-Durman, Aimee Bollu, Gavin Keightley, Charlotte Kidger, Lola Lely, James Shaw and Alice Walton.

    This is a free, drop-in event. All welcome.
